Type a top and a bottom line and they are drawn straight onto your photo in the classic meme layout - bold letters with a contrasting outline. Drag either line on the preview to place it anywhere, and use the controls to set the text size, switch between white and black, or turn the outline and uppercase styling off for a plain caption.
The download is rendered at the original image resolution as a PNG or JPEG - the preview is just a scaled view. Everything is drawn on an HTML5 canvas in your browser - your photos are never uploaded to a server.
